The MTA Is Buggin!!!
So I'm at work getting ready to leave and I see the news on. Just got word that the MTA is increasing fares again. Like 2 dollars wasn't already enough....
Here are the rates:
One way fare: $2.50
One week unlimited: $31.00
One month unlimited: $103.00
I don't remember the exact numbers for toll, lirr, and the express bus, but I know they went up as well...
I'm thinking to myself, why all these increases? I thought public transit was for reducing pollution in the air. It seems like I'm polluting their pockets with money. Things are not getting beter. Milk is $4.00, bread is almost $5.00, cigarettes and beer have turned into luxury, its real crazy out here. Let's not even talk about rent....
The average American my age is living check by check. And imagine if they have kids. Along with living on their own. Its hard out here for us and we are the richest country in the world.
People swim for days and walk through deserts just to experience the "land of opportunity." Its not the 80's anymore. The game is over. Wall Street has been knocked down with a financial sledgehammer, and instead of us having flying cars like the movies that came out when we were kids portrayed, it is looking more like the wasteland in Mad Max everyday.

Tried to go on an e-vacation, but...
Yeah I tried to go on a vacation from the internet. Didn't go as planned. With me working on the team's new website (blockaholic.ning.com), its been time consuming. In my short 40 something hours off, I still managed to make music though. Still was on my twiter though!!!
I still am falling back a bit though. Need some real personal time. Haven't been spending as much time as I want to with shorty. So I'm gonna do more of that.

So im on Nice Kicks and the first thing i see is the prices for the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton sneakers. I am an avid fan of Kanye and i thought i would be getting these shoes. Looks like I'm not. Bad enough i dont got a pair of Pradas. For the prices of these shoes, THEY ARE BUGGIN!!! If only they could bring this style to Nike or Reebok. Even New Balance to make them affordable for all the regular people like me. Oh well, guess i gotta wait till the Yeezy's come out. And from the looks of this, the Yeezys will probally be in the 200-250 dollar range.....

What's Been Going On In The Past Couple Of Days With Me.
As the readers know, I threw a tantrum late Thursday night. I was livid about not being able to perform at the China Club and even more livid that no one even tried to come out (some people got a pass from me). As I'm walking to the train station that night, this bouncer from the strip club asks me can he buy a cigarette from him. Something told me to just give him one. I did, and he got me into the strip club for free.
So i go in there, looking at the dancers and all that, when an idea striked my head. Why dont I ask the DJ if he could play my song? I did, and he showed love. I wasn't expecting that at all. To top that off, the strippers start vibin to my shit. Then the dudes in the club start vibin to my shit. Im like WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! These people dont know who I am or what the song is, but they are vibin! So u know I had to walk around like yeah I made that. I got a lot of props. Then the stripper who danced to it named GiGi was like she liked the song and I need to come back with it to give to the DJ.... Havent been back yet though. You already know how that goes as far as having a wifey is concerned. But this is another opportunity for me!
In addition to that, I finally finished my tatoo. Well the first one at least. I got the king and the crown done at Manny's Tattoos (75-10 Jamaica Ave. Woodhaven Ny, 11421). If you go there, ask for Manny. He has great prices! Gonna get the team name on my arm soon!

SOME PEOPLE GOT PASSES, BUT ALL OTHERS, NIGGAS DON'T SUPPORT MY SHIT. BUT WANNA RUN ME DOWN ASKIN ME IF I'M COMIN TO THEY SHIT.
I'M LOOKING AT THESE PERFORMANCES RIGHT NOW AS WE SPEAK, AND EVERYBODY TALKIN THE SAME THING. HOW THE FUCK YOU TALKING HUSTLIN ON THE STRIP ALONG WITH 99 OTHER NIGGAS? ALL OF YALL AINT GETTIN MONEY. I'M SICK OF THE PHONY RAPS. GETTIN MONEY AND U STILL IN YA MOMS HOUSE ASKIN HER FOR METROCARD FARE. SMFH.

I Can't Auto-Tune Elus!
So I'm in the crib today playing around and I have an idea. How would Elus sound Auto-Tuned? I already experimented with my vocals and a sample of Mala's and they came out good, so why not?
I did my trademark smirk and I got to work. I did the glory days song we did together. I auto-tuned the home Heat, came out good. Me on Auto-Tune sounds cool for some reason (its like a mix of Ron Browz, 50, and Kanye, sweet).
Then I get to Elus. No robotic sound or a hint of one. Damn. I tweak some settings (his voice is deeper than t-pain's). No avail. I try to turn up the pitch. No can do. I am stunned. I even went as far as putting Mary J Blige on the Auto-Tune (hint) and it came out great.
So I closed up everything and hit the big homie Elus up letting him know he can't be Auto-Tuned (that flow is unique yall, powerful!). He still has it on his away message lol!
This Shit Is Fustrating Sometimes
You see that picture up there? Thats what i feel like doing right now! Screaming. Why? Because I feel like I'm supposed to be at a further place in my life right now. Dont get me wrong im not ungrateful, complaining or anything, but AARGH! Shit is going in a cycle. For real. Example: I'm trying to perform tonight at a great venue, and instead of being selfish, I tried to put the team on. THEY DONT WANNA DO IT! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK! NOTHING IS HANDED TO PEOPLE UNLESS YOU GOT A CONNECT! THE RECORD DEAL IS NOT GONNA FALL IN YOUR LAP. YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT!!!!! SHIT!
